The greatest service I can offer is . . .
freeing myself to live freely.
Have you ever watched small children playing alone in a room? They will talk to themselves, and they will answer. They will dress themselves up. They sing and dance. A small child in a room all alone can have a marvelous time entertaining himself. Children can do this not only because they have an innocence that helps them to rise above the cares of the world; they don't mind being alone with their thoughts and their dreams. They don't mind acting out their fantasies. They can live their lives beyond the expectations of others. In a room all alone, children have no inhibitions. They have nothing to prove and no one to satisfy but themselves. They feel free! They are unencumbered by opinions and directives. It happens because nobody is watching them.
Live your life like nobody is watching you. Live beyond expectations. Live beyond what you have been told is right, wrong, good or bad. Just for one day, live like you are totally free to be anything and do anything you choose for yourself. Live from your innocence. Live from a sense of total satisfaction with who you are and what you have available to you. Let yourself dream like nobody can stop you. Let yourself sing like nobody is listening. Let yourself dance like nobody is watching. Play dress up! Talk to yourself! Tell yourself something that you would never repeat aloud. Let yourself be exactly who you are and live like it is okay -- because it really is.
Until today, you may have been living your life under the impression that your every move is being watched. You may have felt like there are certain things you could not and should not do. Just for today, allow yourself the childlike freedom of talking to yourself, dreaming for yourself, dancing with yourself and living your life like nobody else in the world cares or is watching what you are doing.
Today I am going to live my life like nobody is watching me!

BEING A GOOD SERVANT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The greatest service I can offer is . . .
allowing myself to be used to serve
a greater good.
Are you available to be used by the Holy Spirit? Do you make yourself available for the good things in life? From your perspective, you always endeavor to do the best possible thing, for the good of all concerned under most circumstances. No matter what you may tell yourself or others, making and keeping yourself available to do good and be good is a full time job!
Have you ever been led to give someone a compliment? Yet when the opportunity presented itself, you decided that the other person didn't deserve it or that you didn't know how to say it the right way. Holding back the good that you are led to share means that you are not available to do good. How many times have you been inspired to be silent, to hold back your comments and opinions, to let the comments or behaviors of another person go unchallenged by you? Your first thought may be, "I'm not going to say a word." Yet for some reason you cannot hold your peace. You make some comment that leads to an argument or disagreement. Speaking when you are led not to speak means that you are not available for peace. Have you ever been led to apologize but let your self-righteousness or ego get in the way? If you have engaged in these behaviors, you were not available to be used by the Holy Spirit.
Here is a theory that may help you the next time you fail to make yourself available to do something good: Stealing is not only taking. It is also refusing to give.
Until today, you may have considered yourself to be a good person who is always available to do good things. Just for today, consider all of the good things that you have not done, and consider the reasons why. Set your intentions to always be aware of an opportunity to do something good and to be in service to the Holy Spirit.
Today I am devoted to being a good servant of the Holy Spirit!

THINK ABUNDANCE, PROSPERITY AND WEALTH
If you think poor, you are poor.
-- Wally Amos
It is said that that a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Thoughts of poverty and lack are a waste of the valuable power of the mind. In order to experience wealth, success and well-being, it is necessary to train the mind to think positively. Positive thinking is more than a cliche. It is an attitude that embraces the wealth of the human experience. The mind is a tool that can turn a negative into a positive with a stream of progressive thoughts. Many of us have no idea about the true wealth of the universe. We are so accustomed to lack that we see everything as not enough. It is only through the mind, the power of thought, the transformation of perception that we will move from being poor to a state of conscious wealth. Take a penny and commit to collecting 999,999 more. In the end you'll have more than a bunch of pennies. You'll have the beginning of a fortune.
Today I will think abundance, prosperity and wealth into my experience.
