I will know peace when . . .
I am fully present in love in order to experience to full benefits of love.
There are many ways to exit a relationship. You can exit mentally by demonstrating that you are preoccupied by more important thoughts. You can exit emotionally by finding somewhere else to express and experience your passion. You can exit physically by finding ways and excuses for not being present. Or, you can leave spiritually by removing your trust, your respect, your love, your compassion from what you do and what you say.
Sometimes we exit a relationship because of unresolved feelings of anger or betrayal, stemming from past experiences. More often than not we exit a relationship because we feel we are not getting the love we need. Unfortunately, we often blame the other person when our desires are not met. In reality, we haven't asked for what we want or need.
How often have you honestly expressed to your partner exactly what you want or why you want it? When was the last time you shared with your partner how you will feel when you get it the thing you need? How can you expect to get what you want if you don't ask for it? How can you expect to receive the things you say you want if you are not physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually present to receive them?
There are some cases when we know, without a doubt that the time has come to leave a relationship. This is not the kind of exit we are examining here. We are talking about taking your mind, your body, your heart or your soul out of where you are being loved because you are not getting what you have not asked for. This type of exit is not only self destructive, it is a sure-fire way to ensure that you never get the very thing you say you want. Could it be that you really don't believe you deserve it?
Until today, you may have remained in a relationship that you exited a long time ago. Just for today, be present enough to ask for what you want, and remain present long enough to receive it.
Today I am devoted to being fully present, open, and willing to receive the things I say I want in a relationship!

IAM THE WINNING KIND
You survived 100,000 other sperm to
get here. What do you mean you
don't know what to do?
- Les Brown
The best-laid plans and strategies are useless unless you expect to win. And you must know you are going to win before you start. When you know you are going to win, you can prepare your victory speech and what you will wear to the awards dinner the day before it is announced. When you are a winner, you learn how to take a win no matter how it comes -- whether by default, an interception, a fumble or when it comes right to you through the air. Never let a win catch you unexpectedly. Take your wins in stride. Know they are an everyday occurrence for you because you expect to win from the beginning. Never let words of doubt or fear cross your mind; they are the only things that can steal your win. Win big. Win small. Win it for yourself. WIn it for others. Know what a win will look like for you, and when it comes, chalk it up to life.
I Am the winning kind.

HAPPY FOR NO REASON
Be happy to give of yourself, and you’ll be happy. Be happy to make the effort, and you’ll be happy.
Be happy about working through the challenges, and you’ll be happy. Be happy for the opportunity to transform problems into achievements, and you’ll be happy.
Happiness does not come when you try to obtain it. Happiness is a quality that you can choose to add to any experience.
Happiness does not come from arranging your circumstances in a certain way. Rather, happiness is a very powerful, effective and delightful way to relate to any set of circumstances.
Be happy to be living this moment. And not only will you be happy, you’ll also be creative and effective and purposefully focused.
Choose to add your very own happiness to the ups and downs and ins and outs of life. Be happy for no reason and for every reason, and experience life at its best.

LIVE LIFE LIKE NOBODY IS WATCHING
The greatest service I can offer is . . .
freeing myself to live freely.
Have you ever watched small children playing alone in a room? They will talk to themselves, and they will answer. They will dress themselves up. They sing and dance. A small child in a room all alone can have a marvelous time entertaining himself. Children can do this not only because they have an innocence that helps them to rise above the cares of the world; they don't mind being alone with their thoughts and their dreams. They don't mind acting out their fantasies. They can live their lives beyond the expectations of others. In a room all alone, children have no inhibitions. They have nothing to prove and no one to satisfy but themselves. They feel free! They are unencumbered by opinions and directives. It happens because nobody is watching them.
Live your life like nobody is watching you. Live beyond expectations. Live beyond what you have been told is right, wrong, good or bad. Just for one day, live like you are totally free to be anything and do anything you choose for yourself. Live from your innocence. Live from a sense of total satisfaction with who you are and what you have available to you. Let yourself dream like nobody can stop you. Let yourself sing like nobody is listening. Let yourself dance like nobody is watching. Play dress up! Talk to yourself! Tell yourself something that you would never repeat aloud. Let yourself be exactly who you are and live like it is okay -- because it really is.
Until today, you may have been living your life under the impression that your every move is being watched. You may have felt like there are certain things you could not and should not do. Just for today, allow yourself the childlike freedom of talking to yourself, dreaming for yourself, dancing with yourself and living your life like nobody else in the world cares or is watching what you are doing.
Today I am going to live my life like nobody is watching me!

BEING A GOOD SERVANT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The greatest service I can offer is . . .
allowing myself to be used to serve
a greater good.
Are you available to be used by the Holy Spirit? Do you make yourself available for the good things in life? From your perspective, you always endeavor to do the best possible thing, for the good of all concerned under most circumstances. No matter what you may tell yourself or others, making and keeping yourself available to do good and be good is a full time job!
Have you ever been led to give someone a compliment? Yet when the opportunity presented itself, you decided that the other person didn't deserve it or that you didn't know how to say it the right way. Holding back the good that you are led to share means that you are not available to do good. How many times have you been inspired to be silent, to hold back your comments and opinions, to let the comments or behaviors of another person go unchallenged by you? Your first thought may be, "I'm not going to say a word." Yet for some reason you cannot hold your peace. You make some comment that leads to an argument or disagreement. Speaking when you are led not to speak means that you are not available for peace. Have you ever been led to apologize but let your self-righteousness or ego get in the way? If you have engaged in these behaviors, you were not available to be used by the Holy Spirit.
Here is a theory that may help you the next time you fail to make yourself available to do something good: Stealing is not only taking. It is also refusing to give.
Until today, you may have considered yourself to be a good person who is always available to do good things. Just for today, consider all of the good things that you have not done, and consider the reasons why. Set your intentions to always be aware of an opportunity to do something good and to be in service to the Holy Spirit.
Today I am devoted to being a good servant of the Holy Spirit!

THINK ABUNDANCE, PROSPERITY AND WEALTH
If you think poor, you are poor.
-- Wally Amos
It is said that that a mind is a terrible thing to waste. Thoughts of poverty and lack are a waste of the valuable power of the mind. In order to experience wealth, success and well-being, it is necessary to train the mind to think positively. Positive thinking is more than a cliche. It is an attitude that embraces the wealth of the human experience. The mind is a tool that can turn a negative into a positive with a stream of progressive thoughts. Many of us have no idea about the true wealth of the universe. We are so accustomed to lack that we see everything as not enough. It is only through the mind, the power of thought, the transformation of perception that we will move from being poor to a state of conscious wealth. Take a penny and commit to collecting 999,999 more. In the end you'll have more than a bunch of pennies. You'll have the beginning of a fortune.
Today I will think abundance, prosperity and wealth into my experience.

Game Of Life
Life is a GAME so play with the desired end result in mind! Sometimes you lose and sometimes you WIN...Regardless the outcome, lack of participation and celebration of this life isn't an option. Positioning yourself with a good attitude is key. Play the game with a mindset that "TODAY IS MY CHANCE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE"...Winning is a state of mind not circumstances, but FIRST YOU must BELIEVE!

GIVING....
Luke 6:38
New King James Version (NKJV)
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
The Message (MSG)
37-38"Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults— unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don't condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you'll find life a lot easier. Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity

FORGIVE AND TRANSFORM ANY DARKNESS IN MY LIFE
I will realize my own worth when I accept . . . all aspects of who
I am are important.
Could it be that you cannot see yourself as a valuable and worthy person because you know how mean, ugly and nasty you can behave? Perhaps, because you have seen your dark side and know what you are capable of doing, it is difficult to accept that you are still worthy of love, honor and respect. If this is the case for you, relax! Everybody has a dark side and, it has nothing to do with whether or not we are worthy.
If you want to experience the fullness of the truth of who you are and establish an intact sense of self-worth, you must be willing to examine and explore your dark side. You must acknowledge how bad you can be. You must accept how horribly unloving you can behave. You must also admit to those times when the darkness got the best of you causing you to act like a real low-life. The dark side keeps you on your toes. Dark thoughts, dark habits and dark tendencies push you toward the light. As long as you are reaching for or, searching for the light, you stay above the darkness. This does not mean that the darkness doesn't exist. Nor does it mean that you should ignore or deny your own dark tendencies. It simply means that staying out of the darkness of your own mind serves as a very good motivation. The more you know about your dark side, the brighter you will shine in the light.
When you know how deep and dark your dark side is, it helps you stand a little taller in the light. You know better than anyone, "from whence you came!" When you know how far down in the darkness you have been or, could be, the knowledge pushes you a little farther, a little faster. When you have seen the faces of your dark side do not believe that they make you unworthy. Acknowledge them. Learn from them. Forgive them. When you can do that, you transform their energy into more light.
Until today, you may have believed that having a dark side makes you unworthy to seek the light or see the light. Just for today, remember that only stars shine in the darkness. Transform the energy of your dark side to enhance your star quality.
Today, I am devoted to forgive and transforming any darkness in my life!

Life Happens
"Sometimes things get worse, before they get better. Even after you climb one mountain, you have to go into a deeper valley to climb the next mountain. Life happens in cycles; sometimes you have to tear down before you can build up."

Thankful
We have so much in life to be thankful for. We walk, talk, see, hear, think and breathe -- usually without effort. Why do we spend so much time dwelling on what we can't do, don't have and what is going wrong? We can instantly recall the negative experiences, people and circumstances without recognizing we have the ability to walk away, get away or make a change. Perhaps we have too many options from which to choose. Or it could be we simply like to complain. Maybe if we spent just a little time saying "thank you" for what we do have, we won't have so much time to dwell on what we lack. Gratitude, praise and thanksgiving activate the divine laws of abundance. When the universe can see we are conscious of and grateful for what we have, it is activated to shower us with more. Even when it seems that the well is drying up, we can affirm, "I can hardly wait to see the good that will come out of this."

THE VERY BEST ABOUT MYSELF
I will realize my own worth when I
accept . . . myself exactly as I am.
Self Value = I know who I am!
Self Esteem = I am who I say I am!
Self Worth = I believe I am who I say I am!
Until today, you may not have been aware of how your knowledge of your value effects your self-esteem; or, how your self-esteem affects your sense of self-worth. Just for today, make sure that what you know about yourself influences what you say about yourself, because what you say about yourself influences what you believe about yourself.

Food For Thought!

Taking things personally can be a wake up call that something inside of us needs to be looked at and healed. Instead of attacking, defending or withdrawing, we can ask: "what is it about my own beliefs that is being triggered by someone else's point of view or opinion? It's typically an aspect of the ego's wounded self image
that is reacting with indignation and righteousness. There is another way..

TODAYS AFFIRMATIONS
I can do anything! I fully trust and believe in myself.
I am a precious child of the Universe, unique, unrepeatable, prosperous, wise, and worthy. I choose to love and accept myself unconditionally as my Higher Power does. I choose to love and accept others.
At SUNRISE I rejoice. At SUNSET I am at peace. IN-BETWEEN I live with happiness, faith, and courage.
A SHIP is designed to take you places....So if your friendSHIP, partnerSHIP, companionSHIP or relationSHIP isn't taking you anywhere, its best to abandon that SHIP
Theres always two roads to choose from, the high road or the low road. One might get you there quicker but the other might be filled with more joyful scenery... I always choose the journey with the best intentions.
Enjoy your weekend!

Mistakes
Mistakes are embarrassing when they happen. But years later, you have a collection of mistakes called experience, which leads you to success!
I selected this one for those people who after doing a small mistake feel too much guilt. It's okay, but they should keep it in mind that every mistake has a lesson in it, something which should be learned from it.

MY SPIRITUAL CONNECTION
I experience and express the power of trust because . . . I know I am divinely hooked up and spiritually hooked in.
From the story of Daniel, in the Holy Bible, we learn what it means to truly be spiritually connected. You can call it the spiritual hook-up. Daniel had the gift of spiritual vision and prophecy. He also had a very strong faith in and connection to the spirit of his Creator. Faithful, Daniel relied upon and trusted his spiritual hook-up for guidance, which enabled him to do and accomplish many things that others could not do. People were quite jealous because they thought Daniel thought he was special.
When you know, like Daniel, that you are hooked up with your spiritual source, pleasing people becomes almost insignificant. Even when jealousy turns people against you or causes them to attack you, somehow you know you will be just fine. The worst possible thing you can do when attacked by spiritually jealous people is jump off your spiritual hook in an attempt to please or appease other human beings. This was the lesson that Daniel had to learn.
When Daniel refused to do what the king and his jealous cohorts wanted him to do, the spiritually jealous people convinced the king to throw Daniel into a den of hungry lions. Can you imagine!!! It takes more than the average share of trust, faith and obedience to stand up against a pack of ravenous lions. You must be willing to lose everything to honor your spiritual hook-up. Daniel passed the test! He was so hooked up, he walked right into the lions' den without batting an eye.
Until today, you may have believed that being hooked into people could and would sustain you in the tough times Just for today, hook into Spirit for protection and divine guidance in dealing with jealous or disruptive people.
Today I am devoted to experiencing and strengthening my spiritual connection!

Every thought is a seed. If you plant crab apples, don't count on harvesting Golden Delicious....Just a thought for today!
"A pretty good solution now is better than a perfect solution that will never come."
Remember this the next time you find yourself obsessing over a problem you're dealing with in your life. Acting without thinking can get you into trouble, but 'analysis paralysis' can get you stuck in the trap of stress and rumination. Think about your issue, then ACT, then move on. How might your life be less stressful if you practiced this idea today? Food for thought!!!

I HONOR MY NEEDS
Love creates an "us" without destroying the "me."
Love really is about people coming together to support each other. All the little tricks and games they play to get their needs met are just that, tricks and games. It would be so much simpler if we honored ourselves and trusted our partners enough to ask for what we need. Instead, we wait for them to figure it out; if they don't, we hold them responsible. What a cruel trick! When we let our partners know up front what we need, we have a greater chance of having the need met. We must know that our needs are important. Whether it's hugs and kisses, foot rubs, reassurance or Hershey syrup and whipped cream, our needs do matter. Once we let our partners know what we need, we must accept their honest answer as to whether or not they can meet those needs. If they cannot, we must decide if these are the people we want in our lives.
I honor my needs by letting my mate know what they are.

No Condemnation
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1 (NIV)
Do you ever hear the whispers of condemnation telling you that you're not what you should be, that you're always disappointing someone and that you'll never change?
I do. Unfortunately, self-condemnation is a default for me and, if I let it, it can wipe out my confidence as a woman, a nurse and a mother.
Thankfully, I'm just as familiar with God's promises as I am with Satan's lies. My heart has heard Jesus' gentle reminders of His love and goodness, like His "there is now no condemnation" promise in today's key verse.
However, although I know this truth that He speaks over me, I've learned that it's up to me to pause and respond to it. If I don't keep my ears tuned to His voice and my mind set on His thoughts, I forget His promises.
Condemning thoughts come back in and drown out the confidence I have through Christ.
One morning I was struggling with self-condemning thoughts and God guided me to these words written in my morning devotion: "Do not listen to voices of accusation for they are not from Me."
I opened my journal and responded from my heart:
Hello Lord. You know I often feel disappointed in myself and call myself names. You know my feelings have been hurt by someone's comments. Comments that cut me down and stole my confidence. Instead of feeling worthy, I feel like a loser. I hear You telling me not to listen to voices of accusation. Thank You for this reminder right when I needed it.
The devotion continued, "Pause before responding to people or situations, giving My Spirit space to act through you. Hasty words and actions leave no room for Me."
Again, I reached out to Him:
Lord, You know I spoke unkind words to my friend. Thank You for gently reminding me to "pause before responding." You are so faithful to speak truth to me. Thank You for these words-a reminder of what You want from me. I needed this today, right now.
If left to defend ourselves from self-condemnation or the condemnation of others, we'd be defeated every time. Thankfully we don't have to defend ourselves. In fact, God's Word promises, "the Lord himself will fight for" us. (Exodus 14:13-14, NLT)
We have the greatest defender in God and His Word. His truths re-build confidence that condemnation breaks down.
Our part is to know God's promises, respond to His truth, and believe it! Staying saturated in His Word and taking time to listen to His voice is the only way we can overcome condemnation. Reading devotions, digging into books on our specific area of struggle, participating in Bible studies and talking to Jesus through prayer helps re-build the confidence that is ours in Christ.
As we take the time to listen to Him today, let's ask Him to remind us that He is with us, He loves us, and that it's true: "There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." And, that means you and me!
Dear Lord, when I forget, please remind me that I am not condemned. Help me to keep my eyes and thoughts on You. And to accept Your Word as truth so my confidence stays strong in You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Choose To Move Forward
It is human to make mistakes. The real problem comes when you allow those mistakes to take you in the wrong direction. Once you start down a certain road it is difficult to admit that you are going the wrong way and then have to turn around. But regardless of how difficult turning around may be, you will never be sorry when you choose to correct your mistakes rather that to compound them with denial or inaction. You always have a choice in life. So choose to move forward toward a better day.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father God today I surrender the problems that are plaguing my life today. I know that the battle is never mine. I also know the victory is and always lies in my trust in You and in You alone. So I trust today as I surrender these issues over to You that the battle is coming to an end through You. Father God I thank You and ask in Jesus Name. Amen

LOVE....It Just Is
How do you know when you are really in love? First of all, you would not have to ask the question. Love is knowing, it is not a condition or state of mind. When you are loving, you are not doubting, judging or fearing; you are in a state of acceptance. You accept yourself first, for who and what you are, and then the person you love, without question. You do not want to fix him, change him, control him or help him. You want for the person you love exactly what she wants for herself. When you are in love, you feel vulnerable and know that it is okay. You do not hide your feelings, change them to fix what you think the other person wants, and you do not question what you feel. When you are in love, you give, expecting nothing in return, not even love. Love is an inner process between you and yourself that you want to share with someone, everyone. Love is free. If your quest is to own, control, hold on to, protect, or take care of someone, they cannot be free and you are not in love. Love is never wrong, seldom right. It just is.
Love is in the midst of me.

Lift Every Voice
In Honor and Memory of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ~Lest we forget....
~Lift Every Voice and Sing~ by James Weldon Johnson & John Rosamond Johnson
Lift ev'ry voice and sing, Till earth and heaven ring, Ring with the harmonies of Liberty; Let our rejoicing rise High as the list'ning skies, Let it resound loud as the rolling sea. Sing a song full of the faith that the dark past has taught us, Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us; Facing the rising sun of our new day begun, Let us march on till victory is won. Stony the road we trod, Bitter the chast'ning rod, Felt in the days when hope unborn had died; Yet with a steady beat, Have not our weary feet Come to the place for which our fathers sighed? We have come over a way that with tears has been watered. We have come, treading our path through the blood of the slaughtered, Out from the gloomy past, Till now we stand at last Where the white gleam of our bright star is cast. God of our weary years, God of our silent tears, Thou who hast brought us thus far on the way; Thou who hast by Thy might, Led us into the light, Keep us forever in the path, we pray. Lest our feet stray from the places, our God, where we met Thee, Lest our hearts, drunk with the wine of the world, we forget Thee; Shadowed beneath Thy hand, May we forever stand, True to our God, True to our native land.

REMEMBERING GOD'S PROMISE
I am faith-filled and fear-free because . . .
I am never alone.
Do you remember your first day at school?
On the first day of school, you step out of a familiar environment into the mystery of the unknown. Those who you have loved and relied on take you to the door of something big, something pretty scary, and they leave you. You tell yourself you are not going to cry. Yet, at the critical moment, the moment you are forced to stand on your own, the breakdown comes. You stand there fumbling with the buttons on your brand new blouse or shirt, trying to be brave, wanting to run and hide. You might even kick and scream in protest. You may even lose your dignity by begging and pleading for things not to change. No one seems to be listening to you. They are all trying to convince you that it will be okay. Inevitably, one of the big people leans down. In that moment, regardless of what is said, the voice of God speaks directly to your heart, saying "Fear not, for I am with you."
Each new day and every new experience is just like the first day of school. It is a renewal of God's promise to never leave you. If you can stop crying long enough to hear the promise, someone will take your hand and lead you to the classroom of life. By the end of the day, you may feel a little embarrassed about the way you behaved as you realize there really wasn't anything to be afraid of because you are never alone. God promised to stay with you and God has.
Until today, you may have thought you had passed through the first day of school with flying colors. Just for today, realize that each time you step beyond your comfort zone, it is like entering school for the first time. Also remember that God has promised, if you take one step, God will take two on your behalf.
Today I am devoted to remembering God's promise to always be by my side!

You Have The Power
You have the power to create your reality and change your life,no body else has power over your situation unless you give it to them. So what would you like to create within your experience? What would it look like, what would it feel like, what would you see? See your goals as if they had already manifested and just as you see them, they will be born! You can create for yourself ANYTHING all you need to do is set the intention and believe........
This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness
intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips,
sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes
to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can
believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself,
...patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life.

Be Kind Anyway
"People are often unreasonable & self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If u are kind, people may accuse u of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If u are honest, people may cheat u. Be honest anyway. If u find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good u do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best u have & it may never be enough. Give ur best anyway. For u see, in the end, it is between u & God. It was never between u & them anyway." — Mother Teresa

A little of You in Me
Have you ever thought about something you wanted but didn't really know what it was, yet, you realize it's certainly not in what you had? Searching for happiness in the wake of love only to find that it was never love at all and leaving you unfulfilled, yet, not hopeless but hopeful. I've seen that in me as well as a little in you.
And then someone comes along altering how you see life, without effort, just being who they are. A friend, a spirit and suddenly love chimes in.
I've seen that in me as well as a little in you.
Have you ever dreamed of what would make you happy, not the things in life,
but someone? Yet, you realize it's certainly not in what you had. Visions
of joy always just a grasp away hiding behind moments of contentment that
last a week or maybe just a day but not forever.
And then someone comes along that transforms your dreams to a reality, devoid of misunderstanding, needs that hamper and the little things that often cripple us; Someone that's more like you than even you yourself.
I've seen that in me as well as a little in you.
Have you ever drawn a picture in your mind of the perfect mate? How they
would look? How they would feel? How it would be to love and be loved by them. Only to find that it was, just that, a picture in your mind, yet, you realize it's certainly not in what you had.
And then someone comes along that is that picture. So vivid, so bold and
you wonder why you didn't see it before, yet, you have and now the picture
is back only this time it's real. I've seen that in me as well as a little in you.
Have you ever given consideration to how do we continue to make it in this
world, sometimes feeling so alone, sometimes so needy, yet, confident that
we can do this. Setting aside our needs for what you have to do. Finding happiness how you can, through friends and family; but you still feel
unfilled for your journey is long and it's certainly not in what you had.
And then someone comes along that fills those empty spaces as if they
understand exactly what you need. Using the right colors to shade your
days and the right light to guide your night. But how could they know, when you did not know yourself.
I've seen that in me as well as a little in you.
Thanks, Billy!
PLAYING LIFE BY THE RULES
I am faith-filled and fear-free because . . .
I cannot lose when I play life by the rules!
In a sermon, Dr. Barbara King of Hillside Chapel in Atlanta, Georgia, said, "You are playing on the court of life. Hopefully, you have come to win!" She was saying you cannot go through life wondering whose game you are playing, by what rules you are playing or whether or not you are equipped to win. When you arrive on any of life's playing fields, you must know you have come to win! At the same time you must accept the fact that there will be fouls thrown your way, that you may occasionally strike out. Strikes and fouls do not mean that you will lose the game. They mean you must remain alert! Fouls and strikes indicate that there are others on the field with the same thing in mind: winning!
Do not be surprised if you get pushed, kicked or tackled. Do not be upset if you have to lose a point here or there. Remember, the rules of life do not change, but some people think they can avoid playing by the rules. Know that everyone on the playing field has the same skills and the same opportunities. How they use their skills and approach the opportunities are a reflection of their knowledge of the rules. They cannot strike you out unless you let them! They cannot beat you down unless you let them! And no one can win what you have come to win!
The rules of the game of life are quite simple. Always tell the truth. Never live in fear of anything or anyone. Be conscious of what you are thinking so that you can always think positively. Do everything that you do for the love of doing it. If you devote yoruself, your time and your energy to following these rules, have no doubt -- you cannot lose!
Until today, you may have believed you had to cheat, cut corners, compete with others in order to win at the game of life. Just for today, try following the rules.
Today I am devoted to playing life by the rules in order to win!

Positive Thoughts For Today
The secret of living a life of excellence is merely a matter of thinking thoughts of excellence. Really, it's a matter of re-programming our minds with the kind of information that will set us free
You must constantly ask yourself these questions: Who am I around? What are they doing to me? What have they got me reading? What have they got me saying? Where do they have me going? What do they have me thinking? And most important, what do they have me becoming? Then ask yourself the big question: Is that Okay?
Marinate yourself in the juices of Acceptance, Gratitude, & Compassion long enough and you're bound to get a little more tender..
The greatest stock market you can invest in is yourself. Finding this truth is better than finding a gold mine.
Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion; You must set yourself on fire....!
Enjoy your day!

Thought For Today
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light , not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of god. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make and manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

CHOICE
The only wrong choice is no choice. Every experience we face in life is a function of choice; choices made and choices resisted. Until there is conscious choice, one will live in default as a victim of circumstances, accepting whatever comes along. With conscious choice, one is empowered. Choice is, in fact, an empowered yes or an empowered no. By choice we say yes to those things we do want and no to those things we do not. Choice is directly linked to and produces the manifestation of beliefs. Whatever is held in consciousness, whatever one believes about self, life and the world at large will influence or dictate choice. However, by making a new, conscious choice, one can override beliefs which have been long held producing negative or undesirable experiences. Conscious choice determines the power of an individual to create their reality and to manage their experiences.
HARMONY
Our intention to harmoniously align with our soul, with nature and the rest of the world in oneness, opens the floodgates to receive all of the abundance and natural gifts of the universe. Being in flow is our natural state ~ and where we can fully experience our own vitality, inner clarity and peace.
When we align our lives ~ our habits of diet, exercise, work, and sexuality ~ with spiritual laws, challenges remain, but we can approach them without struggle, with arms open wide, like peaceful warriors embracing the moment, ready to dance ~

SELF LOVE
The Butterfly is a symbol of going into ones self, battered and bruised by everyday life pressures...only to emerge a transformed beauty. So very beautiful to behold and so terribly fragile to hold. That is how we are today ladies.. We want to be free to spread our wings. To soar to limits not yet defined by us. We need to know that when we flutter momentarily to earth, there will be strong, but gentle hands waiting to hold us while we catch our breath.
Unfortunately, we all have baggage and issues (BAGS AND SHOES) from past life experiences, not to mention from this current life.
This is my thought on life. With the first breath that we breathe, we begin this journey called life. We have experiences to experience, lessons to learn, and lessons to teach. Now as we travel this road called life, there may be many detours along the way. How we handle each detour determines our next stop along the path of learning. We may venture off the main road from time to time; we may tarry a little too long in the garden of reason. But no matter the path, we can never, ever turn around and retrace a path already traveled.
In life we must confront and deal with old pains, imagine slights, and misplaced trust all to get to a better place within ourselves.
" Stop looking at what's wrong, and instead start looking at what's right about yourself, others, or any situation in general. Nothing or nobody will ever be perfect, so why not just enjoy it to the fullest? Life is too short and time flies. Make an effort to see the beauty in everything before it's too late."
LET THE HEALING BEGIN WITH FIRST LOVING YOURSELF

LOVE
True love should be lived like an imperfect circle that has bumps but never ends.
The best feelings are those that have no words to describe them.
Love is a little haven of refuge from the world
"The mind I love must have wild places, a tangled orchard where dark damsons drop in the heavy grass, an overgrown little wood, the chance of a snake or two, a pool that nobody's fathomed the depth of, and paths threaded with flowers planted by the mind."

SCENT OF A WOMAN
I know that you are away but each time I come here I sense your presence. It's as if I know you are here, yet I know you are not. I find myself coming here to find you awaiting me, a message, your thoughts, your insights, your warmth, your words. It's funny how the scent of a woman can make you miss her so.
Like I always do I rushed home to see you then remembered you are away, yet I stop, I looked around because I could feel you were still there. As I pause to catch my breath, I inhaled and smile for your fragrance fills the air.
The scent of a woman is more powerful than her touch drawing you into her so majestic and ever looming clutch. A scent so intoxicating it leaves you staggering about like a drunken sailor yearning her return, desiring her company. The scent of a woman makes you long for her even more.
I walked around the room as visions of you danced before me; I could even hear your voice, see your beautiful eyes, feel you still near. Again I stopped, I looked around, yet I knew you were not here, but yes you were, even though it was only an apparition.
I trailed your aroma until I found myself traveling in circles. Going round and round reaching, grasping embracing the traces of you that hung in the air; beckoning me to you and hinting your aftertaste. The scent of a woman so keen it masks my loneliness and the silence it left in my heart.
The scent of a woman my desires erupting with unfilled confusion, catapulting my devotion for you leaving me branded with the thought of you as I earmark this moment that endorse that the scent of a woman, my woman has cast me before you for eternity.
This was written by a friend. Thanks Billy!
